The Kerala Literature Festival (KLF), founded in 2016 and organized by the DC Kizhakemuri Foundation and DC Books, is held annually on the beaches of Kozhikode — India's first UNESCO City of Literature. It has grown into Asia's largest and one of the world's most-attended literary conclaves, drawing 500,000+ visitors.

What to Expect

Across four days, the festival features 400+ speakers and 250+ sessions across parallel tracks, spanning literature, art, cinema, science, environment, politics and more, plus evening music and cultural performances on the beach. Past speakers have included Nobel and Booker laureates and global thinkers. A Children's KLF (CKLF) runs in parallel.
