Kerala's Pioneering Shopping Mall
Focus Mall, opened in 2007, is widely regarded as Kerala's first shopping mall and remains a much-loved landmark in the heart of Kozhikode. Located on Mavoor Road right beside the KSRTC/New Bus Stand and opposite EMS Stadium, its central, transport-friendly location makes it one of the most accessible malls in the city.
Shopping & Dining
Spread across roughly 2.5 lakh sq ft over five centrally air-conditioned floors — linked by escalators and see-through capsule elevators — the mall houses a wide mix of fashion, footwear, electronics and lifestyle brands such as Max, Levi's, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, US Polo Assn and Jockey, plus a hypermarket. Its top-floor food court is a highlight, with regional and global options including the well-known M-Grill by the Paragon group.
Family Experience
A gaming zone and children's play area make it family-friendly, and it offers a prayer room and one of the largest parking facilities in the state (600+ vehicles across basement and top levels), with fees reimbursable at select outlets. While newer, bigger malls have since opened, Focus retains its place as a clean, well-maintained, conveniently central favourite.
